āSingapore is one of Asia's central locations for international business. Singapore is now ranked second, after Hong Kong, as a textile and apparel business sourcing hub in the Asia-Pacific region. The 8-week fashion internship in Singapore allows students to gain hands-on experience in a multinational workplace environment. The internship provides students practical experience that enhances their on-campus learning.
Students are placed in some of Singapore's well known multinational corporations. The primary goal of this program is to enhance student learning through firsthand knowledge of the global apparel business environment in Asia. Through the internship course, students broaden their understanding of the international fashion business environment and apply their knowledge within a field experience setting. In their spare time, students go to local attractions and travel regionally.
Students who participate in the Singapore internship study abroad program come back with a renewed global perspective, industry knowledge, professional networks, and strong international resume.
