Newark, Del.- On Saturday, April 21st, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., UDress Magazine hosted its 6th Annual Spring Launch Event. The event took place at the Perkins Bacchus Theater at the University of Delaware campus located in Newark, Del.
The evening began with the magazine launch party, which included various boutiques, local business and promotional tables. Little Words, Rent the Runway and Sun Shoes had tables with merchandise for sale. The night continued with performances from local entertainment such as the Creshendos, Nic Snow, and Jeff Attakorah & Khari Hayden. The evening then concluded with a runway show, having over 40 runway looks. The first half included Viva Love Boutique, Plato's Closet and Ski Bum. The second half showcased student designers from the University of Delaware as well as Rent the Runway. The event had UDress goodie bags for the first 150 guest filled with stickers, luggage tags, hair ties, and coupons. There were also raffles for fantastic prizes and merchandise such as gift cards and apparel from local businesses.

UDress Magazine is a student-run fashion publication founded in 2005 at the University of Delaware. With over one hundred members coming from over twenty-four different majors UDress Magazine provides a unique "real world" opportunity for students to apply their knowledge in the creation of a genuine fashion magazine. UDress Magazine publishes one issue per semester and has an online website where the readers can always go to for up to date information on college, life and fashion.
