Making Connections with Invista

Undergraduate and Graduate ​Students at Invista's Applied Research Center

​



Undergraduate and graduate students from the Department of Fashion and Apparel Studies traveled to Invista's Applied Research Center to learn more about their operation and how Invista works within the apparel industry supply chain.  Students had the opportunity to tour the facility and observe their knitting/weaving machines, dying operations, testing facilities and other parts of their operation.  Students were able to ask questions of core members of Invista's team in order to broaden their knowledge of Invista's proprietary fibers and how they interact with fabric mills, brands and retailers.
